Dr. Swearer was a member of the panel of experts who discussed Bullying Prevention and Intervention Strategies with attendees and the media at a conference hosted by the White House on Thursday, March 10, 2011. President Barack Obama delivered the conference's opening remarks and First Lady Michelle Obama attended and took part in the conference.

Dr. Swearer and the Target Bully Research Team presented a mini-skills workshop, "The Bullying Intervention Program: School-Based Treatment for Bully Perpetrators" on Friday, February 25th, 2011 at the National Association of School Psychologists conference at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

Dr. Swearer delivered the keynote address on Monday November 8, 2010 at the Performance Institute conference, "School and Cyber Bullying: Minimize and Eradicate Child Bullying and School Violence" in Arlington, VA. Additionally, she gave talks at the 10am, 11am, and 1pm sessions.
